James graduated from Murray State University in 2005 with a BS in Accounting with a Finance Option. In 2011, he became a partner in the firm. His experience in his parents' restaurant gives him a unique perspective when helping small business owners.
James is a member of the Advisory Council for the Mustangs Youth Services Center at the McCracken County High School and is also serving a term on the Site-Based Decision Making Council for Reidland Intermediate School. He is a past president of the Purchase Area Sexual Assault and Advocacy Center. Out of the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Misty, and two children.
Johanna graduated with a BS in Accounting from David Lipscomb College, where she was valedictorian of her class. She began her career as a Certified Public Accountant in 1980 and opened the CPA firm in 1995. Her desire to help all clients as much as possible led her to become a Certified Financial Planner in 2006. In 2007, she made the steps to open Fox & Company Wealth Management (formerly Milestones Financial). She now serves as vice president and advisor to Fox & Company CPAs while focusing her time on the growth of our sister company.
Johanna serves as treasurer and sits on the board of the Mayfield-Graves County YMCA. She is past president of the Mayfield Graves Chamber of Commerce and a former city council member. In her free time, you will find Johanna nurturing her garden, working out at the Y, or taking trips to see her beautiful grandbabies.
Laura began her career with Fox & Company as an intern while pursuing a BSB in Accounting from Murray State University. After graduating in December 2013, she transitioned to full-time. In December 2014, she received her certification as Certified Public Accountant, and in March 2017, she became partner in the firm.
Laura is an active Chamber Ambassador, where she is currently serving as Ambassador Chair. She is also a graduate of the 2015-2016 Mayfield-Graves County Leadership program. Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time with her husband, Josh, traveling, and spoiling her nieces and nephew.
Jessica graduated from Draughon’s Junior College with an AS in Computer Information Technology in 2008, and received her second degree, an AS in Business Administration, from Daymar College in 2013. With a background in accounts receivable, Jessica started with Fox & Company in February 2012. By September 2015, she had successfully acquired Certified Bookkeeper and Enrolled Agent certifications.
Jessica and her husband, Jason, live in Paducah. Their family includes son Gunner, born in November 2016, and furbabies Makita and Lucy. When she's not doing laundry, washing bottles, and cleaning dog hair from every surface of her home, she enjoys reading, sewing, and playing video games.
Nicole graduated from Murray State University in May 2002. Prior to Fox & Company, she developed a work history including financial operations, marketing, retail management, and office administration. She joined Fox & Company in May 2015.
She serves as an active member on the Graves County Cooperative Extension Council. On the weekends, Nicole and her family love to chase history, whether it’s visiting a museum or exploring a Civil War battlefield. And when she isn’t tracking new explorations, you will find her discovering new worlds in the latest fiction series.
Betty graduated from Strayer University in 2014 with a BS in Accounting. She recently moved to Western Kentucky after gaining experience in Knoxville, TN in bookkeeping, tax preparation, and customer service management.
Outside of work, she and her husband, Mark, enjoy going fishing and hiking. Most of all, they enjoy pursuing and overcoming new milestones with their daughter, who was born in January 2017.
Raleigh currently attends Murray State University and is pursuing a BS in Accounting. Raleigh had previously interned with us through a co-op with her high school and rejoined our team in February of 2016.
She is an active member with Tri Sigma. In her free time, Raleigh is either volunteering around Murray or studying in Waterfield Library. When school isn’t in session, you can find Raleigh exploring through Land Between the Lakes or swimming in Kentucky Lake with friends.
